WORSHIP: The best way to get a glimpse of who we are is to join us in worship at either 9:15 or 10:30am. In worship we celebrate the goodness of Jesus through music, prayer and scripture. We practice a practical Christianity. So you can expect to hear a message that is biblically based and which applies Christian truth to the aspects of everyday life. We explore our relationships with our family and with others from a Christian point of view. We look at the actual steps involved in coming to a place of forgiveness for those that have hurt us. We also explore what it means to be forgiven and learn to live in our newfound freedom from the past.
There will be laughter and lighthearted teasing from our preachers. There are also powerful moments of insist and invitation that move people to make a commitment to Christ or to making amends in their lives.
You will also hear both Spanish and English being spoken by our members. We have a Spanish Language service at 10:30am and a good percentage of our church is made up of people who speak Spanish as their first language. We are very intentional in our belief that a church should reflect the community that God has planted it in. We are open to all people and our church works hard to assure that everyone, no matter their circumstance, feels welcome and loved.
We are serious about following the ways of Jesus. We believe that when you join us in worship you will feel at ease and sense the genuineness of our hearts.
CHILDREN: We are blessed to have amazing leaders in Children’s ministry. We offer Sunday school, Children’s church and nursery care. But you are also welcome to bring your children into worship with you. Don't worry if they get fussy or draw some attention to themselves. We are glad to have them in worship with us. Like any family we are delighted to have all generations together.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? The atmosphere of worship is informal. There are people who wear jeans and some who dress up a bit more. There is no dress code and whether you are used to wearing a dress shirt and slacks to church or T-shirts and shorts, you will feel at home.
